The Bachelor’s programme is completed with 180 ECTS (credit points). 1 ECTS point corresponds approximately to a workload of 25-30 hours.

Our BSc in International Business Administration offers a comprehensive, practice-oriented education with a strong international focus. Taught entirely in English, this programme combines hands-on experience, mandatory international exposure, and flexible study options to prepare you for a successful career in global business.

With small class sizes, personalised attention from experienced lecturers, and a compulsory exchange or internship semester, you will gain the ideal balance of theory and practical experience to equip you for the job market—both in Switzerland and worldwide.

Our bachelor’s programme provides a solid foundation for a career in business, entrepreneurship, government, and non-governmental organisations.

• The full-time programme consists of six semesters, all taught in English.
• In the first three semesters, you will build a strong base in international management fundamentals.
• The fourth semester includes a mandatory international experience through either a semester abroad at one of our partner universities, or a supervised internship at a company with international operations.

Upon your return, you will deepen your skills in international management, leading to the bachelor’s thesis in your final semester. The programme also integrates key competencies such as

Language Support and Integration

If your native language is not German, you can take up to 15 ECTS credits in German as a Foreign Language. This will help you integrate into the Swiss labour market and improve your employment prospects.
