The Master Global Hospitality Business lays the foundations for strategic decision-making and offers a detailed insight into the relationship between finance and strategy. From the outset, students will work with techniques and tools designed to develop their individual capabilities.

Piano di formazione

  • Semester 1: The focus is on Europe, the Middle East and Africa, allowing students to acquire basic knowledge and regional insights.

     

  • Semester 2: Students gain expertise in strategic decision-making in operations management, covering areas such as revenue management, marketing and service quality. This semester also offers the opportunity to apply strategic decision-making skills by addressing the latest challenges shaping the future of hospitality and tourism across Asia.

     

  • Third semester: Students will be immersed in two highly dynamic tourism markets - the Americas and the Caribbean. This semester focuses on developing leadership skills and building a human resource management system.

The Master's degree is the second university degree after the Bachelor's and is generally equivalent to the acquisition of 90-120 ECTS credits.1 ECTS credit corresponds to approximately 25-30 hours of work.

Ammissione

Condizioni d'ammissione

  • Recognized bachelor's degree in hospitality or tourism or a related field, such as business management;
  • Excellent academic record (final GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 cumulative average scale);
  • A minimum of one year of work experience in the hospitality or tourism industry (including internships);
  • For non-native English speakers : a minimum score of 100 on the TOEFL or 7.0 on the IELTS exam;
  • If selected, the next step is to be successful in the interview that will be conducted via video conference by an EHL professional and a member of one of our partner universities.

Costi

Semester 1: CHF 34'890.-
Semester 2: CHF 20'680.-
Semester 3: CHF 23'300.-

Additional living and travel expenses are estimated at CHF 1'800.- per month on average over the 16-month period, including on-campus accommodation, flights, health insurance, local living taxes and inscription fees with the Swiss Authorities.

Financial aid may be requested to the Fondation des bourses et prêts d'honneur EHL.

Master of Science HES-SO in Global Hospitality Business

This master's degree carry two accreditations, for guaranteed international recognition. The degree is compliant with the Bologna agreement, recognized all over Europe, and EHL is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), in the USA.
