Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) ist eine Nachdiplomausbildung der Hochschulen und entspricht mindestens 15 ECTS-Punkten.

The CAS in Digital Clinical Trials guides participants through designing a digital clinical study. Participants will use their own or a given clinical research question to learn how modern study concepts, digital measures, precision medicine, AI applications, real-world data and digital health technology will add to a digital study design. Structure

The CAS is organised in a modular way built on each other. The course consists of 6 Modules:

• Module 1: The Power of Study Design
• Module 2: Digital measures
• Module 3: Precision medicine and AI
• Module 4: Real-World Data
• Module 5: Digital Health Technology
• Module 6: Digital study design

The course also includes individual coaching sessions to discuss specific course content and progress in study planning.

The main teaching day will be Thursday, with a few exceptions and breaks during public holidays. Three 3-day block courses will be held on site (Wed-Fri) at the start of the programme in September, and in January and April.
