Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) is a postgraduate course offered by universities and corresponds to at least 10 ECTS credits.

Heart Failure will be the new epidemic of the 21st century. Regarding this unmet medical need, the objective of the Postgraduate Course for Heart Failure is to offer a high quality education and to train a new type of cardiologist proposed by the curriculum of the European Society of Cardiology ESC.

Course features range from clinical assessment including imaging techniques, treatment strategies from pharmacotherapy to cardiac devices and invasive procedures to patient care in end-stage heart failure including destination therapy and transplantation.

• Arrhythmias & Device Therapy in Heart Failure 
• Multidisciplinary Procedures
• Acute and Advanced Heart Failure
• Mechanical Circulatory Support & Transplantation in Heart Failure

The course features will be lectures, workshops with patient cases, hands-on exercises and live-transmissions.
